D & M California Tile English Horse Rider Framed

An 8" D & M Tile Company, Los Angeles CA (1928-1939) decorated tile of an English style rider in a red coat atop a leaping white horse in a bucolic landscape. It is grouted and framed into wood from its original life as a drink stand, but now ready to hang on the wall or use as a large trivet. Overall measurements 12 1/2" square and 1 1/2"  thick.  Great original condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
